Property developer S Harrison Developments is to hold a second consultation on its residential proposals at Leith Waterfront.

Ocean Point 2 will transform the brownfield site with a mix of family and student housing as well as coworking units, amenity space and landscaped grounds.

383 apartments are proposed, which will rise on land between Albert and Victoria Docks, with private amenity space at the roof level.

A spokesperson for Harrison Developments commented said: “Our proposed development, if approved, will bring much-needed homes and other uses to an area which is undergoing a rapid transformation, delivering a truly mixed community.

“Regenerating a current brownfield site, we look forward to continuing to engage with the local community following our first exhibition last year and providing it with the opportunity to input their views and further shape our ambitious proposals.”

The consultation takes place tomorrow between 14:00 and 19:00 at Ocean Terminal.

For such an iconic site it doesn't even run the Barcode area of Oslo near.
