Cater Group has purchased the former Maryfield House on Whinhill Road in the Ferryhill area of Aberdeen for future development.

A traditional detached property of granite construction the building was previously operated as a care home and occupies approximately 0.34 acres of land on a corner plot.

Ewan Gibson of Cater Group said: “With control over both Maryfield House and Maryfield Lodge as well as the land to the rear, the sizeable piece of land lends itself to some exciting opportunities in a premium location.”

A change of use planning application for the site is anticipated over the coming weeks.

Offers of over £1m were invited for the property.
