26 co-living studio flats earmarked for listed Glasgow terrace

Third Line Studio has opened a public consultation relating to proposed residential development at 67-73 Carlton Place, Glasgow.

Running until 31 May the website dovetails with a proposal of application notice calling for the demolition of an existing extension to the B-listed property along with its conversion and extension to form co-living apartments.

Superseding a prior application for holiday rental accomodation the latest bid will deliver 150 co-living studio apartments of between 22 and 26sq/m in addition to a ground floor commercial unit and amenity space such as a rooftop terrace.

In a statement, the applicant wrote: "The principle of development on this site has therefore been established. The proposed development seeks to maintain a similar design, scale and massing to the previously approved schemes whilst introducing a new Co-living use at the site."

A live question and answer session will take place on 19 May between 15:00 and 19:00.
