Rutherglen Links business park expands with twin pavilions

Clyde Gateway is to move on-site with a pair of twin office pavilions as the Rutherglen Links business park enters its second phase of delivery.

Clark Contracts have been instructed to deliver the £4m Keppie designed project, which will offer a combined 15,000sq/ft of accommodation, offering space for close to 120 additional workers.

Clyde Gateway chief Ian Manson said: “This is more positive news for the town centre. These new pavilions will provide space for just under 120 office workers, and all told Rutherglen Links, when full, will be home to over 500 people, all of whom will be providing a spending boost to Main Street.

“This style of office pavilion is a new concept for Clyde Gateway, and it is a project we are really excited about. They will each have a different internal layout which in itself will maximise the flexibility on offer with the capability of accommodating either a single user or up to four tenants."

Building on the success of the previously completed One Rutherglen Links the new pavilions are being jointly financed by a capital grant from the Scottish Government and Clyde Gateway itself. Completion anticipated by February 2020.

some people say rutherglen poaches businesses from glasgow with lower tax rates than glasgow, because it is not in glasgow. That's a bit like what Ireland does with the eu, hence all the businesses that have moved there too.
