Ayrshire primary school to get underway
South Ayrshire Council is to press ahead with a £3.8m primary school in the village of Dailly following the demolition of the original building.

Contractors are due to move on-site of the AHR designed school next week for completion by early 2017, replacing three existing buildings with one unified structure  holding up to 100 pupils and 30 nursery children over two levels.

Valerie Andrews, the council’s executive director, resources, governance and organisation said: “Supporting our rural areas is a really important to the council and this latest project will safeguard education in Dailly for generations to come.”

As part of the development external areas will be designed to encourage social interaction and promote outdoor learning.
