Construction consultancy firm Turner & Townsend have been tasked with project managing the 105,000sq/m new Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre; including a 12,500 capacity arena, three hotels and energy centre.

Turner & Townsend director Andy Outram said: “Over the next three years, our role will be to overcome numerous challenges including construction so close to the airport, diverting large scale utilities and repositioning three existing watercourse to create a new park.”

This is worth building just for the fact that there's now a train available to get there. Will miss those miserable hour long drunken walks from the city centre north to watch Rihanna or The Killers
