BAM win bidding war to build INEOS’s Grangemouth HQ
BAM Construction have been named by chemicals giant INEOS as their preferred bidder to build a £17m headquarters at the Grangemouth oil terminal.

Designed by Michael Laird Architects the 6,863sq/m building is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Douglas Keillor, regional director of BAM Construction said, “We are delighted to have been selected by such a blue chip organisation as INEOS to deliver this important part of its Grangemouth masterplan. Given that most of our projects have a long development stage; it’s a nice change to be getting down to work straight away with a client that already knows exactly what they want.”

Work on-site has already commenced.

And so it would appear that INEOS will have a jolly good idea about something that we don't, or will at least have a tacit agreement with the suits-that-be over their proposed mining operations, that the mere hoi polloi and their play-democracy-voting-thingy haven't got a scooby about.
This is how it really works - just sayin.

So much for the 'democratic' planning process then... news on the radio this morning... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-34938891.
The whole fracking/shale gas thing quite literally stinks.
