Campbell and Arnott architects go bust
Architects Campbell and Arnott are the latest practice to fall foul of the downturn having gone bust.

The practice were one of Edinburgh’s largest completing a range of work across the city and beyond including Pitlochry Community Hospital which featured in the Architecture Scotland Annual 2010.

Founded in 1962 the practice were latterly based in Leith and had garnered a significant range of plaudits for their work over the years, including a nomination last week at the Scottish Design Awards for interior work on a giant pipe organ in Moscow.

No one from the design team was available to discuss what the future holds for the practice and its current live projects.

Long time coming... certain activity in a brewery comes to mind. Especially from Robinson and Whitehead.
