Preferred contractor lined up for £100m Wyndford regeneration

CCG are in the driving seat of the £100m Wyndford regeneration project after being named as the preferred tenderer for the role of primary contractor.

The move by Hub West Scotland and Wheatley Homes brings the delivery of 400 new homes in Maryhill a step closer following the demolition of three tower blocks and the ongoing dismantling of a fourth.

CCG managing director David Wylie said: “Through our involvement, our industry-leading construction and manufacturing methods, we will ensure these new homes meet the highest standards of quality and environmental performance."

Subject to planning consent work on the new homes is expected to commence by late 2026 with 85% of the properties available for social rent and the remainder for mid-market rent.

The plans by ECD Architects also include a community hub, improved open spaces, walkways, and cycle paths.
