The Scotsman Group, owners of Glasgow's Grosvenor Cinema, have appointed Convery Prenty Shields Architects to conduct frontage alterations including a new revolving door enrtrance.

External entrance works to the Ashton Lane venue make provision for a new glass door under a decorative brass roof canopy in addition to two timber doors stained to match the Grosvenor bar.

Illuminated display boards will be fitted flush to the exterior wall to advertise the latest films alongside new cast iron rainwater goods.

Designed to improve access and presence from the popular West End destination the works will significantly widen the main entrance by creating a 4m wide opening in the facade.

New security roller shutters will also be installed, concealed within the canopy.
