293 all-inclusive apartments set to rise at Ocean Point

A public consultation is to be staged by Crosslane Residential Developments this Thursday at which the developer will set out its plans for serviced apartments at Ocean Point 2 adjacent to Ocean Terminal in Leith.

The major development will deliver 293 apartments, 74 of which will be made available for intermediate rent, together with a variety of shared social spaces.

Designed by Hawkins/Brown the entire building is classed as a 'living environment' with shared communal spaces and facilities inhabiting the building throughout.

Mark Hughes, managing director at Crosslane said: "Residential serviced living represents an innovative affordable housing solution at a time when rental accommodation prices in the capital are soaring, and there are serious demands on housing supply.

"Our proposals will significantly assist in the regeneration and expansion of this part of the city."

A consultation website will go live at 09:00 on 10 February with a live chat taking place between 15:00 and 19:00.
