Schoolhouse apartments launched in Lenzie
The High Street Group has launched a £3.6m apartment project in Lenzie which will see a former schoolhouse in the conservation area transformed into 20 flats.

Moncrieff View is situated within a five-minute walk of the local train station, transforming the former Lenzie Primary School into 11 apartments with a further nine apartments located in a new build extension.

Design work undertaken by Holmes Miller Architects on behalf of Vaga Developments will see maisonettes carved out within the existing classrooms through the insertion of a mezzanine floor, all accessible from a central lift contained within the large atrium space.

Closed since 2016 since the relocation of pupils and staff to Lenzie Moss the building could be in use again as housing from the autumn.

Backed by Lenzie Community Council the scheme is already under construction.
