A key component of the city's International Financial Services District, Capella, has topped out. Designed by BDP for wbdevelopments  Capella comprises 111,000 sq/ft of grade A office space alongside ground floor retail/leisure units.  Underground parking is provided throughout.

Alternating clear and tinted panels highlighted in bronze merge into a matrix enveloping the facade, bringing a lightness of touch to normally conservative corporatism. The curving form is dictated by a semi complete public amphitheatre, Capella rounds this off and brings it to life by way of enhanced civic realm incorporating a public square of porphry stone paving and black granite chairs with tree planting and LED lighting.
