Brechin Community Campus welcomes first pupils
Pupils and staff have taken possession of the £26.5m Brechin Community Campus following completion of phase 1 work at the JM Architects designed school.

Developed by Angus Council in partnership with hub East Central Scotland and Robertson Tayside and includes a number of community leisure facilities including a performance hall and accommodation for adult learning.

Gary Bushnell, chief executive, hub East Central Scotland, said: “We have worked closely with Angus Council and Robertson to complete this first phase of the project ahead of schedule and on budget. The new school building provides a high quality facility that has been purpose built to meet the needs of pupils and staff.”

A second phase of work including demolition of the old school and creation of a synthetic sports pitch is scheduled for completion in October.

#1, I'll give you a new one. I imagine these photos are not of the completed building as the second one in particular highlights some shoddy workmanship and poor quality finishing.
