Urban Splash Irvine masterplan wins approval
North Ayrshire Council has granted planning approval for a £60m waterfront development in Irvine.

The plans, which have been drawn up by Irvine Bay Regeneration Company, Urban Splash and Reiach & Hall, set out a mixed use vision for a 12 acre site that will incorporate 360 homes, cafes, shops, offices and a hotel.

This it is hoped will take advantage of the location and views of Irvine Harbour to create a place for people to live, work, visit and relax.

The 10 year masterplan represents Urban Splash’s first foray north of the border but won’t be its last. The regeneration specialist is working on plans for the reuse of St Peter’s Seminary, Cardross, with Gareth Hoskins architects.
