Murphy’s mixed use Aberdeen project unwrapped
A £45m mixed use scheme on Aberdeen’s Justice Mill Lane is emerging from beneath its scaffold as Richard Murphy Architects hotel and office scheme enters the final phase of construction.

A 185 bedroom Park Inn Hotel is being created on the site incorporating a 13,000m2 office building.

Murphy’s strategy for the site is to establish semi public courtyards within the development to impart a sense of place.

Work began on the competition winning design for Hazledene Estates in June 2008 and is expected to complete in June this year.
Flats were originally planned to occupy the space above a multi storey car park; but this didn't prove financially viable

Unfair. Richard Murphy is a good architect and how can you tell anything from these images? Another Edinburgh lush no doubt.

This doesn't look like vintage Richard Murphy Architects though. Value engineered?
