New home for HLM

New home for HLM
HLM Architects have decanted to new larger premises in Glasgow at Ailsa Court, 121 West Regent Street. The practice previously operated from premises at Riverside House on Clyde Street.

The 25 strong team are bucking the downsizing trend thanks to a healthy order book for hospital builds.  This workload includes the New Victoria Hospital in Glasgow’s South Side, Clackmannanshire Community Hospital and Midlothian Community Hospital.

HLM have also been appointed as Technical Advisors to the South Glasgow Hospitals program.

Lorraine Robertson, regional director of HLM’s Scotland office, said: “Over the years, we have won excellent quality work across Scotland and attracted some of the best architecture, interior design and landscape architecture talent that the country has to offer.  Our new offices will provide enhanced working conditions for our staff and enable us to expand in the future.  We look forward to delivering high quality sustainable architecture from our new base.”

Chris Liddle, chairman of HLM Architects, said: “Our sustained business growth in Scotland is testament to the quality of our architecture and our approach to creating design solutions that are fit-for-purpose and help to regenerate areas across the country.  We look forward to continuing to support our existing national clients from our established base in Scotland.”
