44 flats to rise on the site of a vacant Cumbernauld office block

S2 Architecture and CCG have shared plans to build 44 flats on the site of a disused office block in Seafar, close to Cumbernauld town centre.
Lennox House, a three-storey concrete panel construction, will be replaced by a red brick apartment block under a pitched roof with an anthracite metal stairwell.
A range of one to three-bedroom apartments are planned over five floors with solar PV panels incorporated into the south-facing roofscape.
A 25-space car park will be increased to provide 44 spaces as part of a landscape strategy by DEP, including new planting and paving.
Homes are finished in a mix of brick and metal cladding
The town centre build sits in the residential Seafar district

Will these be privately owned or will they be available for council tenants?

Will this be council. I've been looking to move back to seafar I live in England and want to be near family
