Cruden Homes has won planning consent to build 122 homes in west Edinburgh as part of the West Craigs masterplan.

Situated on the outer urban edge of the city between Barnton and The Gyle the 4.25-acre build will sit at the heart of the planned community overlooking the newly formed Lennie Park.

ISA Architecture & Design are to deliver a variety of apartments, townhouses and terraced and semi-detached properties, all of which will have access to communal electric vehicle charging points.

When fully built out West Craigs will be home to 1,700 houses as well as a health centre, primary school, cafe, parkland and a nursery.

A start on construction is expected this spring with completion anticipated by early 2024.
