Workplace well-being emphasised at a planned parkland office campus

Detailed designs for a biophilic parkland office campus to the west of Edinburgh have been submitted to planners by 7N Architects.

Edinburgh Green by Shelborn Asset Management seeks to seed a new breed of workspace in the city's hinterlands that prioritise the well-being of workers by bringing them closer to nature.

Offering a mix of sports facilities, a cafe and a mobility hub the campus of eight office buildings open directly onto a central park offering ample space for relaxation and recreation.

Designed to achieve zero operational carbon by 2030 as well as an EPC A rating, BREEAM Excellent accreditation and the WELL Gold standard the campus will be open to the surrounding Edinburgh Park community to visit.

This will be aided by opening up the existing site boundaries to improve accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists with a network of active travel routes crisscrossing the site above undercroft parking.
