Skypark share updated plans for 250,000sq/ft office block

Skypark has shared its latest proposals to develop 250,000sq/ft of grade A office space including garden break-out areas.

Led by Federated Hermes with MEPC the next phase of the business park consists of a nine-floor building on vacant ground with undercroft parking, with Sheppard Robson remaining as architect.

Land at Port Street overlooking the Clydeside Expressway has been chosen for SP8, offering panoramic views to the south and east from its elevated position.

The business park is opening a live public consultation on 1 September to promote its plans ahead of a planning application in early 2023.

A shared entrance courtyard will be formed with Skypark 1.

Phasers set to malky -- extra dimension to the Glesga office offering.

Design looks OK -- best dressed man at Skypark is not much of a accolade though.

I'm sure somewhere in the back of beyond a business park manager weeps -- cheaper office space in the city is not what he/she needs.

If it wasn't so serious you could have a good giggle at those rather limited (trying to be polite) architects who haven't yet cottoned on to the concept of trees with roots.
