Architecture & Collective Life

The Architectural Humanities Research Association was founded to create a space for thoughtful debate about architecture and its practices. The AHRA 2019 conference will frame this debate in terms of the individual and the collective because, to our mind, these categories unpack the social and spatial relations that organise settlements and societies, and thereby constitute a platform for thoughtful action.

Keynote speakers include:

Jodi Dean, Professor of Political Science, Hobart & William Smith Colleges
Reinier De Graaf, OMA and Cambridge University
Indris Kagis McEwan, Concordia University, Montreal
Joan Ockman, University of Pennsylvania School of Design
Martino Tattara, Dogma and Catholic University Leuven
