This work included a revamp of the main hall and side hall to allow them to be used for civic functions and weddings as
Council leader Willie Gibson said: “The Town Hall is looking fantastic and the refurbishment ensures that the building will remain a focal point for the community for generations to come.”

That photo exemplifies everything that is wrong with Scotland's towns.

Tired buildings, crappy shopfronts, bins everywhere and not a tree in sight.
