RICS unveil new base on Edinburgh’s Princes Street
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has unveiled their new Edinburgh office on Princes Street after vacating their previous base at Manor Place.

The professional body instructed JLL to overhaul 6,000sq/ft of space to improve acoustics, thermal comfort, daylighting and lighting to offer a more comfortable and productive environment for staff.

Niall Robertson, director, JLL, said: “We created lecture theatres capable of housing 100 people, a members’ lounge and office space which maximises natural daylight, making the most of stunning views over Edinburgh Castle.

“The fit out was completed within six weeks using sustainably sourced materials combined with energy efficient lighting, heating and ventilation systems.”

Sarah Speirs, director, RICS in Scotland, added: “Our new space is truly transformational and creates a really inspiring workspace which is comfortable and easy to maintain.”

Our company presented a flat roofing seminar there recently. The offices are stunning and the facilities for our presentation were perfect for such an event.
