Former Edinburgh school targetted for 85 new homes

A former primary school in Edinburgh is to host 85 new homes following the appointment of Hart Builders to deliver the project by Hopefield Partnership.

Hopefield Partnerships chief executive, Kenneth Boyd, said: “Together we will be able to offer our high quality and energy-efficient homes in a carefully designed setting that links well with the existing community.”

The £11m brownfield build will provide a mix of affordable accommodation around a village green which will be made available for mid-market rent.

Hunter's Tryst Primary School in Oxgangs Green will commence construction as soon as it is safe to do so.
