Stirling extends westward expansion at Kildean Business Park
Stirling Development Agency have come forward with plans or a new office development on grassland as phase one of Kildean Business Park, opposite Craigforth Campus beside the M9 motorway.

Set within landscaped grounds beside the River Forth the £25m build will stand on the western edge of the city to designs by Michael Laird Architects.

Detailing their vision the architects wrote: "We are delivering to Stirling one of the largest new office developments in Scotland and have attempted to mix the historical importance of materiality in Stirling to a sustainable modern office building.

"Verticality in the arrangement of the charcoal variegated brickwork panels contrasts with the horizontal nature of the office floor plates and umber coloured metal cladding and windows emphasise the rhythm of the façades."

A complementary landscape masterplan will see tree planting along the river corridor with meadow grass on profiled slopes and groups of birch trees closer to the building.

8,700sq/m of gross external floorspace will be provided across three floors
