West end hair salon is a cut above

A former Ducati showroom within a 130-year old tenement building on Great Western Road has been transformed into the city’s newest hair salon at the hands of the JR Group.
A full renovation and fit-out of the 6,000sq/ft premises was performed by the construction firm, including remedial structural work to floors and walls together with the painstaking removal of the ceiling by hand.
This work allows additional windows to be inserted alongside a new mid-floor to provide a level working surface for Mesart Hair Design. Bespoke meeting pods have also been introduced, elevated above the main workspace, with a large-scale mural dominating the space.
