Old Town takes shape ahead of summer completion

Peveril Securities are on track to complete Edinburgh’s King’s Quarter this summer, delivering a major mixed-use regeneration project in the heart of the city’s Old Town.

When complete the development will deliver 32 apartments together with a 108-bed aparthotel operated by StayCity and 166 studio apartments for students.

Two units suitable for bar and restaurant use are also being marketed with both benefitting from outdoor seating, with one opening onto an interior courtyard.

Toby Withall, Partner at Knight Frank Edinburgh, said: “Regeneration projects like King’s Quarter bring clear benefits to the local area and the work carried out so far has already seen an increase in footfall – it acts as an attractive link between the Grassmarket and Lothian Road.”

Designed by Fletcher Joseph Architects King’s Quarter connects Grassmarket to Lothian Road by bringing a former stable and jousting courtyard back into productive use.
