Virginia Galleries joins up Merchant City
July 29 2008
A new stone façade to Virginia Street melds with adjoining Victorian proportions and echoes the original Grade A listed Virginia Galleries which collapsed in 2003. More expressive architecture behind encloses a gated, cobbled courtyard containing shops and leisure facilities. This forms an arcade linking Virginia St through to Miller St, creating an exciting new public realm space.
