Autumn start confirmed for 22 Castlemilk properties

Ardenglen Housing Association are to proceed with 22 new homes on the site of a former school at Ardencraig Road, Castlemilk, this autumn.

Expected to take a year to complete the £3.6m build has been designed by ARM Architects to offer a mix of flats and houses, including some wheelchair accessible flats.

Councillor Kenny McLean commented: “This new development will see yet more homes that suit a wide range of people coming to Glasgow – a welcome trend that we now see regularly in the city. In this case, I am especially pleased to see the site of a former community asset being used to bring these 22 new homes to Castlemilk.”

The properties are set to be built by McTaggart Construction.

I can't work out whether the flats are a refurb or not with these roofs?
...if not are they modelled on a cheap trump haircut? - they are not attractive at all.
