Former Perth Mart earmarked for new homes
A 30 acre brownfield site on the outskirts of Perth has been earmarked for up to 270 new homes in a planning application prepared by EMA Architects on behalf of Perth City West.

Occupying the site of the former Perth Mart off Crieff Road the scheme will bring back into use an area of land which had become a target for fly tippers whilst also delivering a range of new family homes.

A spokesman for EMA said: “The site is currently rundown and has become an eyesore; this proposal would bring the site back into use and represents an excellent opportunity to provide necessary family and affordable housing in the area.”

Housing will be arranged around a new network of streets and lanes lined by two-storey properties intended to be ‘in-keeping’ with other properties in the area.
