Stirling flats project breathes new life into city centre

June 3 201653 affordable homes on the city’s Goosecroft Road as part of continuing efforts to revamp the area around its main railway station.
Built by CCG to designs by Michael Laird Architects the scheme includes three ground floor commercial units, currently being fitted out, and public realm improvements.
Council leader Johanna Boyd said: “It’s fantastic to see this ambitious project finally completed and tenants starting to move in to this very attractive and contemporary addition to the city’s housing stock which also helps regenerate a key city-centre site.”
Properties have been made available at mid-market rent and incorporate high standards of insulation together with decorative artwork created by Andy Hazell after being commissioned by Creative Stirling.
