Ogilvie Construction hand over 302 Fountainbridge student apartments
Ogilvie Construction has wrapped up construction of an £11m student residential development at Edinburgh’s Fountainbridge, delivering 302 apartments.

Delivered by Fletcher Joseph on behalf of The Student Housing Company, to designs originally drawn up by Paul Welsh Ar4chitect, Arran House incorporates ground floor retail space fronting the Western Approach Road which is planned to become a tree-lined boulevard.

Donald MacDonald, managing director, Ogilvie Construction, commented: “We are proud to have delivered a high quality facility that will benefit students in Edinburgh. The building has been constructed to the highest standards, providing first class living conditions close to the University and all key amenities.”

A palette of light and dark brickwork has been chosen for the project to differentiate studio and living spaces from bedroom clusters, with an enclosed courtyard situated to the rear.
