Caledon Group market £1.5m conversion of A-listed Trongate bank
Caledon Group has begun marketing a £1.5m conversion of a former bank at 190 Trongate, which it is in process of transforming into eight serviced apartments above a ground floor retail unit.

Half of the properties, including a range of studio and two-bed apartments, have already been pre-sold even though completion is not expected until October.

Overseen by Mosaic Architecture + Design the work which will include stone cleaning and repairs, retaining period features such as stained glass whilst removing false ceilings, raised floors and partitions.

Robbie Wotherspoon of Caledon Group said: “We have a fantastic track record for breathing new life back into properties and this finished building will be no exception. We will preserve many of the original features and secure a magnificent piece of the city’s heritage for future generations."
