NHS Lanarkshire commence construction on health centre trio
NHS Lanarkshire has begun construction of three new community health centres located in East Kilbride, Wishaw and Kilsyth.

Designed by Reiach & Hall on behalf of Graham Construction the three centres are valued at £19.6m, £23m and £7.8m respectively and will each open their doors in summer 2015.

Ian Ross, chief executive of NHS Lanarkshire, commented: “Over the last five years NHS Lanarkshire has built new health facilities in Airdrie, Carluke, Hamilton, Bellshill and Coatbridge and these three new centres are further evidence of our commitment to providing the best community health facilities possible for the people of Lanarkshire.”

North Lanarkshire Council is partnering on the Wishaw Health Centre to enable delivery of a new library and council contact centre within the build.
