Grampian & Highland health centres secure funding
A trio of health centres in Grampian and the Highlands with a combined value of £13.2m have reached financial close with Hub North Scotland.

The project will entail construction of three primary care centres at Woodside, Forres and Tain, the first collaboratively procured design, build, fund and maintain project to be delivered through the mechanism for the NHS.

NHS Grampian will deliver Forres and Woodside Fountain Heath Centres whilst NHS Highland picks up the reigns of Tain Health Centre.

Each will be delivered in partnership with contractor Miller Construction who will move on site within a matter of weeks to complete the facilities in time for their scheduled opening in April 2014.

Miller is currently in process of delivering the Aberdeen Community Health & Care Village.
