A+DS reveal Larbert Loch shortlist
Architecture + Design Scotland have revealed the five finalists in their Larbert Loch design competition, an initiative to create a new timber viewing platform within the grounds of Larbert’s Forth valley Royal Hospital.

George Watt & Stewart, A449, Jamie Hamilton, Cameron Webster Architects + MAKAR and John Downie Architectural Design have each been selected to develop detailed, fully costed, proposals.

A budget of £30k then being made available to deliver the winning design - along with a modest fee.

A small exhibition of all entrants work will be put on display in the Lighthouse shortly before being transferred to Forth Valley Hospital later in the year.

Is it just me or are these just different types of timber fences?

If I'd known I'd have submitted my 1.8m 'hit and miss' or even the feather edge with capping piece. Damn it!!!
