Napier University announces £70 million campus expansion

Napier University has unveiled the latest phase of its multi million pound campus expansion plans.

A new campus worth £55 million will be built in the Sighthill area of Edinburgh, as well as a £5 million community sports facility and an £8.5 million refurbishment of the Merchiston campus.

The Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Napier University, Professor Joan Stringer, said: "This exciting development is part of our ten-year, £100 million estate plan and, from conception in 2000 to completion in 2010, will represent an investment of £10 million a year from Napier into the Scottish economy and beyond."
