Murray playing away
The property downturn is passing Sir David Murray by as the Rangers boss splashes out £1.6m on his swanky pad in Edinburgh’s Murrayfield area.

Weighing in at 23 rooms over three floors the gaffe, designed by Gareth Hutchison Architects, will include five ensuite bedrooms, a gym, swimming pool, library and even a wine cellar whose choice vintages can be quaffed from the first floor drinks terrace which enjoys spectacular views over the city.

Interiors are bespoke, using the finest craftsmanship and materials and floor to ceiling windows soak up the surrounds centred upon the showpiece veranda.

A ground level remote access garage will provide entry to the secluded property which it is said will be one of the most expensive  the city has ever seen..
