Rain bane slain
Caravanners more than most will be aquainted with that familiar British bugbear of the sodden Summer, for the flat topped metal hulks have the knack for transmitting the thunderous applause of daily downpours to card playing holidaymakers entombed below.

Their plight and that of others may be at an end however with an acoustic damping material developed by Sound Reduction Systems Ltd.

A hi tech self adhesive membrane boasts a low tech genesis thanks to the impossibility of conducting viable tests in the unpredictability of the real world.

Instead a suspended water tank with a perforated base was used to simulate nature’s worst over test samples with an audio receiver strategically positioned below.  In this manner a wide variety of variables could be computed in an analytical manner for optimal ear pleasing results.
