Consultation launched for 165 brownfield Dalmarnock homes

A consultation is underway concerning the delivery of new homes at French Street, Dalmarnock, bringing longstanding brownfield land of 40 years back into productive use.
Following the submission of a recent proposal of application notice contractor CCG has launched straight into a community consultation to showcase its emerging proposals.
Led by Clyde Gateway the project is being designed by Stewart Stevenson Architects who envisage a mix of 165 terraced houses and apartments for social rent by thenue, including some houses for private sale.
A full planning application is expected in the autumn following an in-person event at Bridgeton Library on 6 July between 14:00 and 19:00.
An amenity space will lead into a landscaped route to Dalmarnock Station
