West of Scotland Science Park expands

A Glasgow science park is expanding with the submission of plans for twin extensions of an existing pavilion to accommodate expanded open-plan office space and laboratories.

Halliday Fraser Munro proposes to expand the Curia science facility at the West of Scotland Science Park with a two-storey addition to meet the demands of future operations.

Acting on behalf of Kadans the work will support an expanding business, using red brick to match the existing elevations on separate extensions to the northwest and northeast of the current building.

Situated off Acre Road the project includes the expansion of an existing yard area to service the enlarged building, complete with a new set of entrance gates.

Kadans are also delivering a 6,000sq/m health innovation hub in Govan.

maybe not the most inspirational, but perhaps promoting the future by extending and refurbing instead of demolishing?
