Hamilton bowling green to provide 12 apartments

Framed Estates, acting on behalf of building contractor Procast, are proposing to build 12 private apartments on land owned by a miner’s welfare club at 4 Alness Street, Hamilton.

Plans filed with South Lanarkshire Council call for a vacant bowling green to be developed as housing, including 29 parking spaces.

Accommodation is to be arranged in two symmetrical L-plan blocks connecting to Eliot Crescent set within new landscaping.

Finished in buff brick and grey zinc the two-bedroom properties will also be provided with a cycle shelter.

All six ground-floor apartments will be fully accessible.
