Barrhead Foundry readied for public reveal
The finishing touches are being applied to a £3.8m community centre in Barrhead as its official unveiling at the end of the month draws near.

Barrhead Foundry, designed in-house by East Renfrewshire Council’s property and technical services team; incorporates a library, classrooms and a business centre within a new build structure adjoining the town’s sports centre on Main Street.

The two-storey extension has been underway since early last year and follows delivery of a new high school for the town.

It will open its doors to the public on 21 January with phase two works to improve car parking and landscaping expected to complete by the summer.

I have always found that photos that dont actually show you much of the building generally mean its a poor quality build and there only prepared to show you small bits of the project out of embarresment

Just read the previous comment ... certainly not true in this case. Lots of photos on Facebook if you want to see more.
