£7.4m social housing project breaks ground in Cambuslang

Hub South West has greenlit a £7.4m development of 48 homes for social rent at Auld Kirk Road, Cambuslang.
Delivered by Mast Architects and Cruden Group the scheme will deliver a mix of cottage flats and semi-detached homes on 1.84 hectares of vacant ground between Gilbertfield Road and Woodland Crescent.
Allan Callaghan, managing director for Cruden Building & Renewals commented: “These high-quality homes will be built to Silver Standard energy efficiency levels, providing residents with warmer homes that have fewer carbon emissions and are cheaper to run."
Work is already well underway with completion expected in January 2021.
