Work to get underway at Tarbolton Community Campus
South Ayrshire Council is to press ahead with constructing an AHR designed community campus in Tarbolton after the project after it signed off on an £8.2m funding package.

This will see Morrison Construction move on site to deliver space for 297 primary pupils and 40 nursery children alongside sports, leisure and library facilities made available to the wider community when it opens its doors early in early 2017.

Councillor Margaret Toner, lifelong learning portfolio holder, at South Ayrshire Council, said: “I look forward to seeing this new community hub coming together in the next few months, and I’m confident the public will like what they see when the doors open next year.”

The new campus is being built using a design, build, development agreement with Hub South West assuming responsibility for design and construction and the council taking care of maintenance.
The campus will be integrated into the village through extensive landscaping
