Linwood Sports Hub opens to the public
A £20m sports hub in Linwood delivered by BAM Construction and Cre8 Architecture for Renfrewshire Council has opened its doors to the public.

Linwood Sports Hub incorporates an adult day care facility, three swimming pools, eight court sports hall and fitness suite in addition to an upgraded athletics track and grass pitches.

It forms part of a wider Framework that incorporates the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley, Johnstone Sports Hub, Kirklandneuk Primary and Park Mains High School.

The striking geometric build is designed to frame a number of key views, notably a foyer approach and relationship between wet and dry areas.

Doug Keillor, regional director, BAM Construction Scotland said, “Linwood Sports Hub is a modern, high quality, purpose built environment to be shared by the community and its many social, cultural and sports groups.”
