Hyslop presides over My Home, My Place, My Scotland
Scotland's Culture Minister, Fiona Hyslop, has presided over the My Home, My Place, My Scotland exhibition, an attempt to define what Scotland's heritage means to individuals.

Hyslop cited the Orkney Venus (pictured) as just such an example but some delegates left unimpressed. Malcolm Fraser for one told Urban Realm that he was disappointed his call for a leveling in VAT for both new build and refurbishment work had been effectively brushed under the carpet for less controversial topics.
