O no, Turner Associates put one in the Eye for Marks Barfield
Things are looking up for Brighton’s waterfront with two very different observation platforms set to go head to head in a race to the top.

Turner Associates have devised a 60m spokeless ferris wheel, the Brighton O, for a site within touching distance of Marks Barfield’s 150m Brighton Eye.

There’s no sign of any neighbourly love between the two however with Barfield attempting to block their would be compatriot over concern at an 18m overlap between the two sites.

Councillors have deferred a decision on the Brighton O until further discussions have taken place.
