Time flies
The Edinburgh Architectural Association’s anniversary poll, celebrating Edinburgh’s architectural legacy of the past 150 years, is approaching the final furlong with a deadline extension to June 30.

The poll, viewable at http://www.eaa.org.uk, breaks voting down by decade in pursuit of each era’s design pinnacle and features such architectural luminaries as Dettes College from David Bryce and St Andrew’s House by Thomas Tait.

Amongst the fresh faced challengers are Richard Murphy’s Tron Square Housing, Malcolm Fraser’s Dancebase and, most controversially, the Scottish Parliament from EMBT and RMJM.

Results will be published online on July first prior to a commemorative book publication later in the year.
